Helping Small Communities for more than 30 years

Wastewater and Onsite Systems

The National Onsite Demonstration Program (NODP) was formed to encourage the use of alternative, onsite and wastewater treatment technologies. The program helped to protect public health, ensure water quality, and sustain the environment in many small and rural communities. The NESC maintains much of NODP’s information within it’s website and databases. The National Small Flows Clearinghouse (NSFC) was funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to help America’s small communities and individuals solve their wastewater problems through objective information about onsite wastewater collection and treatment systems. NSFC products and information are the only national resource of its type, dealing with small community wastewater infrastructure.
